I am planning to move to Seattle, but before I decide to settle I want to rent out and see if I like the place. I live in Honolulu,HI and the only good thing here is the bright yellow sun. I don't like hot weather and prefer cold weather. Also I plan to own a business and Seattle has a much better business environment than Hawaii. I have looked up rentals on craigslist and I am not really familiar with the neighborhoods there. I know Bellevue and Mercer Island are good places but pricey. South Seattle is pretty bad and I would not even step my foot in there. Downtown Seattle is pretty expensive but close to the core such as Queen Anne is much more affordable. I notice North Seattle is much more affordabe but I am not sure if the 150 dollars I am saving is worth it. How safe is North Seattle? and how bad is the traffic? Is Queen Anne a better deal, the apartment is near the Pacific University of Seattle so I know its a college area and is only 3-4 miles away from downtown. Hawaii is paradise and there is no place like home but there is no opportunuties here, thats why many people want to move to the West Coast. The clouds and the rain is a small price to pay....
